पूंजीगत व्यय में अग्रणी भारतीय रेल

भारत सरकार के 54 बड़े केंद्रीय सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के उद्यमों में पूंजीगत व्यय में भारतीय रेल सर्वाधिक व्यय वाला विभाग हो गया है। भारत सरकार सभी सरकारी विभागों के माध्यम से राष्ट्र में आधारभूत संरचना के सुदृढ़ीकरण के लिए प्रयासरत है।

इसी क्रम में भारतीय रेल ने वर्ष 2023-24 के पूंजीगत व्यय लक्ष्य ₹2.44 ट्रिलियन में से अब तक लगभग ₹1.13 ट्रिलियन (46.6 प्रतिशत) खर्च किया है। भारतीय रेल के बाद हाई-वे निर्माण में 46.4 प्रतिशत फंड का उपयोग किया गया है।

ज्ञात हो कि, केंद्रीय बजट में वर्तमान वर्ष में उत्तर प्रदेश के लिए रिकॉर्ड ₹17,507 करोड़ का आवंटन किया गया है। यह वर्ष 2009-14 में किए गए औसत वार्षिक आवंटन से 15.78 गुना अधिक है।

इसके फलस्वरूप ही रेल में चतुर्दिक विकास हो रहा है और संपूर्ण विद्युतीकरण, दोहरीकरण, तिहरीकरण, चौथी लाइन, ट्रैक अपग्रेडेशन, गति संवर्धन, नई गाड़ियों का संचालन, नई लाइन गेज परिवर्तन तथा स्टेशन विकास के कार्यों को प्राथमिकता पर किया जा रहा है।

Indian Railways leads in capital expenditure

Indian Railways has become the department with the highest expenditure in capital expenditure among the 54 large central public sector enterprises (#CPSEs) of the Government of India. The Government of India is striving to strengthen the infrastructure in the nation through all government departments.

In this sequence, #IndianRailways has so far spent about Rs. 1.13 trillion (46.6 percent) out of the capital expenditure target of Rs. 2.44 trillion for the year 2023-24. After Indian Railways, 46.4 percent of the funds have been used in #highway construction.

It may be noted that in the #UnionBudget, a record allocation of Rs. 17,507 crore has been made for Uttar Pradesh in the current year. This is 15.78 times more than the average annual allocation made in 2009-14.

As a result, all-round development is taking place in #Railways and the works of complete electrification, doubling, tripling, fourth line, track upgradation, speed increase, operation of new trains, new line gauge conversion and station development are being done on priority.
