Why and who is helping the Natwarlal of South Eastern Railway in remaining at Kolkata and enjoying only preferred postings of Operating branch of SERly?
He has done doctorate in playing dirty politics and generating complaints against senior colleagues.
He was DyCOM and was transferred out 2 years back to Delhi because of a barrage of complaints against him.
But, he came back to Kolkata quickly and became Director/Rail movement.
Now on promotion to SAG he tried to become ED/RM there itself.

When the Railway Minister didn’t agree and turn down the file, he is sought to be made CFTM/SER whereas the present occupant of that post has not even completed his tenure.
There is an atmosphere of fear among staff, officers and even customers of South Eastern Raiilways’ Operations.
बीच में यह खबर भी आई थी कि डायरेक्टर/रेल मूवमेंट लोडिंग करने वाली पार्टियों/व्यापारियों से बिना मजबूत दक्षिणा लिए उन्हें परमिट नहीं करते हैं। इस बारे में कुछ व्यापारियों ने सीधे भी ‘रेल समाचार’ को यह बात बताई थी। इस पर जब डायरेक्टर/रेल मूवमेंट से बात की गई थी, तब उन्होंने इससे स्पष्ट इंकार कर दिया था।

खबर है कि इनमें से प्रमोट होने वाले करीब 5-6 अधिकारियों ने अपनी-अपनी जगह पर ही बने रहने के लिए रेलमंत्री, सीआरबी, मेंबर ट्रैफिक और सेक्रेटरी, रेलवे बोर्ड में से किसी न किसी को पकड़ रखा है। इनमें से एक वह नटवरलाल भी है।
परंतु जब रेलमंत्री ने डायरेक्टर/रेल मूवमेंट की पोस्ट अपग्रेड करने से मना कर दिया है और फाइल लौटा दी है, तब मेंबर ट्रैफिक उक्त अति-विवादास्पद अधिकारी को कोलकाता में ही प्रमोट करने में क्यों विशेष रुचि दिखा रहे हैं? यह सवाल सभी अधिकारियों के मन में उठ रहा है।

रेलवे में पिछले कुछ वर्षों के दौरान कुछ नहीं बदला है। इसका इको सिस्टम बदस्तूर पुराने ढ़र्रे पर ही चल रहा है। उपरोक्त तमाम जोड़-तोड़ के कारण तंग आकर दो साल पहले रेलवे से स्वैच्छिक सेवानिवृत्ति ले लेने वाले एक ईमानदार ट्रैफिक अधिकारी ने कहा कि लगता है कि देश में भले ही कोई निजाम आ जाए, रेलवे में कोई भी मंत्री आ जाए, पर रेलवे का ईको सिस्टम कभी बदलने वाला नहीं है।
उन्होंने आगे कहा कि नटवरलाल जैसे लोगों ने रेलवे का बेड़ा गर्क करके रखा है और मंत्री को कुछ समझ में नहीं आता। ऐसे में रेलवे बोर्ड में बैठे बड़े बाबू अपना उल्लू सीधा करते रहते हैं तथा इनके चलते रेलवे में कोई ईमानदार आदमी कभी टिक नहीं सकता।
इनमें से प्रमोट होने वाले लगभग सभी अधिकारियों ने अपनी-अपनी जगह पर ही बने रहने के लिए #MR #CRB #MT #SecyRB में से किसी न किसी को पकड़ रखा है
