GM/SER felicitates 6 employees for exemplary safety works

Kolkata: General Manager, South Eastern Railway S. N. Agrawal felicitated six employees of SER for exemplary safety works at its Headquarters, Garden Reach for their devotion to duties, safety consciousness and round the clock alertness during duties in their respective field.

In recognition of their best and outstanding performance in safety-related works, the six employees have been awarded. The names of the awardees and their workplaces are given as under:-

SER to run 13 pairs weekly special trains between Santragachhi & Puducherry

Kolkata: To clear the extra rush of passengers, it has been decided to run 13 pairs of Special trains between Santragachi and Puducherry during the period from 07.07.18 to 01.10.18.

06009 Santragachi-Puducherry Special leaving Santragachi at 14.10 hrs every Monday will reach Puducherry at 21.45 hrs, the next day. In the opposite direction, 06010 Puducherry-Santragachi Special leaving Puducherry at 19.15 hrs every Saturday will arrive Santragachi at 04.30 hrs on Monday. On 18.08.18 from Puducherry, the train will run as Suvidha Special (train no. 82612) with same timings and stoppages.

The Special trains consisting of one AC-2 Tier, one AC-3 Tier, seven Sleeper class and six General Second Class coaches will have stoppages at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Palasa, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram, Duvvada, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Tenali, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Chennai Egmore, Tambaram, Chengalpattu and Villupuram stations en route.
