Mumbai suburban railways face a major problem of passengers trespassing on railway tracks. The railways have come up with several campaigns to aware the Mumbai citizens about using foot over bridges instead of crossing railway tracks. However, the issue remains unsolved.

Now, the Central Railway has roped in Amitabh Bachchan who has appealed to the passengers to follow the Railway Safety Rules.

D. K. Sharma, General Manager, Central Railway while addressing the media at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai said, “Do not cross the rail track. Use the foot overbridges always in general and suburban section of Central Railway in particular. He also reminded those who trespass, should keep in mind that someone is waiting for them at home.”

The megastar has also done a recording for the same initiative at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CST) station. In the recording, the actor has made the commuters aware about the use of foot-over bridges and asked them not to trespass on railway tracks and follow all other safety measures prescribed by railways.
