If the corrupt officers are protected, even violating the Law, How will the corruption be removed?

V. K. Yadav, CRB/CEO

As per DOPT guidelines and instructions, and Lokpal Act, all Central Government Officers submit Individual Property Returns (IPR) every year to competent authorities.

The head of departments (HODs) has to ensure that IPR of all his officers to be kept in public domain by uploading it on official websites.

Initially it was being followed by all Zonal Railways and Railway Board.

But now it is not being followed by most of the Zonal Railways, Production Units, CORE and Railway Board itself.

Even, as per information, Chairman, Railway Board (CRB), now the first CEO of Indian Railways, is also not submitted his IPR from last so many years.

It can be easily checked by surfing it’s official website.

It indicates that top level Railway officers do not want their IPR to be kept in public domain due to vested reasons.

Who will now ensure it?

How will the corruption be removed, if these corrupt officers are protected by violating the Lokpal Act?
