‘Mazumdar Empire’ in Railway Board who is above CRB’s instructions

Can CRB ask Complience of his instructions from his own Joint Secretary Mazumdar?

New Delhi : Chairman, Railway Board (CRB) Ashwani Lohani tried to build confidence among Officers and Staff to give their best performance without fear of any Vigilance Case. Hence Railway Board’s Transformation Directorate issued “Guidelines to be followed for registration of a Vigilance Case” on 16.01.2018, addressed to all Zonal GMs to ensure compliance. It contains 10 prerequisites for Vigilance case against any Officer or Staff.

Shri Lohani had asked compliance from all except his own Railway Board, who suspended two Senior IRTS officers without any inquiry in October 2015 on RailNeer complaint to appease then fully misguided or confused Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu to become ‘Hero’ of any Corruption Drive of Prime Minister.

It was fake Encounter of two Senior IRTS Officers by then CRB A. K. Mital and his team to get an extension after retirement. Later on Railway Board Vigilance and CVC found “No fault of both Officers in RailNeer case.”

Instead of correcting their mistake, by overruling on Departmental and CVC recommendation, violating DOPT instructions, ‘Storekeeper’ A. K. Mittal and his team persuade then Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu to give Prosecution Sanction to buy time and avoid any embarrassment for their impulsive mistake.

Now both Senior IRTS Officers – Sandeep Silas and M. S. Chalia – are fighting the case in Delhi High Court against Railway Administration for “Non Application of Mind” or “Mindless Application of Mind by Minister”.

All concern Sinners of ‘Storekeeper’ A. K. Mital, Kundan Sinha looking after Member Traffic, and Suresh Prabhu etc has gone but still, both Officers are suffering, unnecessary attending court dates, paying advocates for their PF withdrawal.

All prerequisites of CRB Shri Lohani are missing in this case but still Railway Board’s Joint Secretary B. Mazumdar is contesting against Own Railway Board Vigilance, CVC and Poor Senior Traffic Officers. Can CRB Shri Lohani ask Complience of his instructions from his own Joint Secretary Mazumdar?
