CRB is taking care of grievances and welfare of Trackmaintainers
New Delhi: Railway Karmachari Trackmaintainer Association’s General Secretary G. Ganeshwar Rao and President V. Ravi has met with Chairman, Railway Board (CRB) Ashwani Lohani recently. He discussed with CRB Shri Lohani on several issues in favour of Trackmaintainers and their welfare.
GS/RKTA Rao has welcomed the approach of CRB on major and concordant steps like pulling out of several field staff from bungalows/offices of officers and supervisors of Permanent Way and Works.
Immediate implementation of Allowance of Rs.1000 in addition to risk and hardship allowance of Rs 2700 to Trackmaintainers who are posted on level crossing engineering gates. Strengthening of Immediate grievance redressal system from grass root level.
He further took special emphasis on welcoming the talks undergoing and decisions taken in the rise of the minimum payment. RKTA congratulated Narendra Modi Government, Railway Minister, Chairman, Railway Board and all Cabinet Ministers concerned.
RKTA General Secretary Ganeshwar Rao had special talks with Railway Board officials for the creation of the post of the senior technician for the eligible senior most Trackmaintainers.
He further said that Northern Railway already started taking action in the payment of gate allowance of Rs. 1000 and Rs. 2700 risk and hardship Allowance to Trackmaintainers posted at level crossing gates.
He is believing that the present system of LARSGESS scheme needs further modifications and transparency in the early settlement of the cases. Presently pending cases of in LARSGESS are piled up to a great extent in many Zonal Railways.
Ganeshwar Rao, general secretary and V. Ravi, President RKTA has conducted a meeting at Rewari, Northern Railway. A huge gathering of Trackmaintainers attending the meeting indicates the interest and liking which RKTA has got from them.
In the meeting, he said that as our Prime Minister Narendra Modi has opined that in near future the son and daughter of Trackmaintainer will also be a Doctor or Engineer or a Civil Servant, which was never before in the earlier days.
Trackmaintainers are also waiting for the golden days. Because of improper exposure of their civil rights, less wages and allowances they were rotting in the bad culture of domination from all ends.
But Rao said the days of wrath and sufferings are over, the future is very bright and RKTA will fill fight for every Trackmaintainer to the core of heart.
