LPP, LPM, LPG – Do your duty and fight for your right

How does the administration is giving illegal orders and forcing LPP/LPM to work as LPG?

How does the administration is giving illegal orders and forcing LPP/LPM to work as LPG on a regular basis?

There is a Pay Commission Order No. 47, dated. 27/09/2020 by DPC C S Dora regarding utilisation of Loco Pilot/Passenger (LPP) for Goods train working.

In the minutes of the Video Conference of CRB with all GMs say that, not to affect the movement of  essential commodities in shortage of LP(Goods), LPP/LPM may be utilized for freight train movement.

But there’s neither written letters from the Railway Board nor from GM’s office.

How does the administration is giving illegal orders and forcing LPP/LPM to work as LPG on a regular basis?

It’s injustice and dishonour to the Sr.LPs and tantamount to a major penalty of reversion/degradation.

It’s very unsafe to railway property and safety, and leads to accidents due to improper judgement of braking distance of Goods train because LPP/LPM are habited to work fast light loaded coaching trains only.

In Sambhalpur Division, East Coast Railway there are more than 16 nos of Sr.ALP who have already completed their DP training and are waiting for LPG promotion.

They may be give promotion and utilisation as LPG but the administration isn’t taking interest in it due to the lack of running staff unity.

No Loco Running Staff are supporting its own mother organisation AILRSA in pure soul, heartily, physically and mentally.

They are just outwardly showing to other people to be a member of AILRSA by contributing only for membership.

It became 3 days of above order issued, but no response, no reaction from any LP/ALP.

The attitude of being a Coaching LP/ALP is very high, even they can’t talk with those ALPs who are working coaching trains.

They are thinking themselves as full time/permanent coaching ALPs.

Why are the LPG are working Passenger trains, why LPP are working Mail/Exp trains?

If there are requirements then administration will give promotion as per vacancies of the posts. No need for extra work to do.

It must be noted that the National Average Kilometerage is fixed 5100 in the basis of LPP mileage and from that formula their mileage rate is fixed up to Rs.7.48 not Rs. 5.25.

So, think before going to work, it’s the perfect time to show their anger, unity and protest against the illegal orders of administration.

Be united, Do your duty and fight for your mights and rights.
