Union forcing the employees to attend office without any rotation
They are asking all the staff to attend office from last week
The Railway Employees Cooperative Credit Society (RECCS) head quarters in Chennai working with full strength with more than 500 employees and Union is forcing all the employees to attend the office, as told by a employee.
He told that, the Society which is headed by GS/SRMU and managed by union leaders of SRMU, is forcing it’s employees to attend duty without any rotation even when the Society falls under Royapuram ward which got maximum corona positive patients in the City.
Some employees were told that, they are asking all the staff to attend office from last week. The society is very near Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital, Chennai where majority of the covid patients are treated in Chennai, they said.
They says, “still that is attrotius even by union’s standards. The Society was closed from March 24th to May 18th. Now they are obtaining approval letters from the employees who went to join duty to treat the whole period as their own leave (LAP)”.
It will be a public service if someone can point out the above subject at least to the concerned authorities, they requested.
Let us hope the Railway Society won’t be the next Koyambedu in the Chennai city, they said.
