National Railway Mazdoor Union (NRMU/CR/KR) has extended and exhibited it’s firm solidarity to the countrywide protest programs called by Central Trade Unions including HMS/AIRF on 22.5.2020 by holding meetings at various locations across Central Railway and KRCL region.
General Secretary Com. Venu P Nair himself has led the program at Wadibunder and CSMT in Mumbai and explained the workers about the contemporary situations of the country where the working class especially the organised and unorganised workforce would be subjected to utmost exploitation and miseries due to the aggressive implementation of anti labour, anti people policy decisions being taken by the central and state governments.
He called upon the workers to prepare themselves for a massive struggle to protect the interest of workforce of the country including railwaymen, which is on the brim of peril with various decisions of government including outright privatisation of key sensitive sectors of defence, aviation, power, coal mining, disinvestment of profit running PSUs and amendment of labour & trade union laws.
