The merger decision is not a ‘reform’, but it’s actually a ‘deform’

This is called the fence eating the crops !

The CRB and Minister, actually want to hide their own inefficiency. All previous teams have praised the working of Indian Railways most unequivocally.

The merger decision is not a “reform”. it’s actually a “deform”. It’s laughable. When departments will remain, some amount of departmentalism too will be there.

The fastest degradation has happened in the last 5 years. This Minister has no interest or time for a great department like Railways.

May be they want to willfully make it frail and loss making to create justification for it’s sale to their chosen friends.

The contribution of Iindian Railways in the overall growth of this country is unparalleled.

With all the innumerable social responsibilities and  liabilities it was making a decent profit for decades without any budgetary support from the government kitty.

One of the largest employers in the world it ran smoothly decade after decade. Even during the Lalu era, Railways did better than ONGC and many other Navratna companies.

If you don’t allow freedom in operation and decision making and load it with social burdens then you should not blame the organization for not making huge margins.

Actually, our government and society is marked by high levels of hypocrisy and double standards. We want our cake and like to eat it too !

During the Vedio Conferencing, the CRB expressed his awe for the IAS. He said, he took 13 years to meet an IAS. My forecast is once IRTS is gone, the likes of the CRB will permanently be at the feet of IAS as all top managers will be from IAS sooner than later.
