Link between CRB and MD of RIddhi Siddhi Udyog
CBI recently on 2nd April 2014 arrested Bhalotia, MD of RIddhi Siddhi Udyog along with an officer of Excise deptt in Calcutta in connection with a hawala scandal of Rs One crore. Riddhi Siddhi Udyog is an established railway supplier of wagon items mainly brake blocks. Till recently it was a Category 1 supplier certified by RDSO.The rise in recent times of Riddhi Siddhi Udyog is attributed to the close dealing of Bhalotia with Arunendra Kumar, presently the Chairman of Railway Board. Bhalotia used to keep Arunendra Kumar well provided with money especially in recent times when Arunendra Kumar has to make huge payoffs as a part of his deal to become CRB with a leading cabinet minister belonging to Chindwara, Chhattisgarh.
On CVC’s recommendations, Riddhi Siddhi Udyog was blacklisted by RDSO recently. The MD Bhalotia complained to Arunendra Kumar who promised to help. Arunendra Kumar impressed upon Member Mechanical Alok Johri to reinstate Riddhi Siddhi Udyog in the approved list of suppliers. Alok Johri reluctantly upgraded Riddhi Siddhi Udyog as a category 2 supplier and advised RDSO. Subsequently Alok Johri made many conflicting notings on the file mainly out of fear of having done something wrong.
Arunendra Kumar therafter started pressurizing RDSO to further reinstate Riddhi Siddhi Udyog as a Category 1 supplier which will enable Riddhi Siddhi Udyog to get bulk orders. V. Ramachandran the then DG of RDSO and Yadav the ED refused to comply with Arunendra Kumar’s orders even though they were threatened.
On Saturday, 5th April 2014 Shri Arunendra Kumar called the new DG/RDSO (P. K. Shrivastava) to Board to pressurize him in this case. The DG came but told CRB about the arrest of Bhalotia. Hearing this CRB panicked and tole the DG to deal with the case as he pleased. MM Alok Johri also immediately wrote a letter to RDSO telling them to blacklist this vendor.
Arunendra Kumar is a worried man these days as he is afraid of Bhalotia telling CBI about his links with Arunendra Kumar. Alok Johri is also worried that he will get entangled in this case because of the black deeds of Arunendra Kumar.
Arunendra Kumar in these days busy trying to find connections within BJP. He has been contacting the office of the BJP president seeking an appointment after telling them that he can be a very useful ally. As per my reliable sources He has offered a big amount for keeping himself safe.
