National Rail Plan ( NRP) 2030, and<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\">b. Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence at 10.30 AM on 24 October 2020, Saturday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Objective is to get suggestions\/Views from Divisions\/Zones to finalise the National Rail Plan and also an action plan to implement it in a time bound manner.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\">A comprehensive action plan is also required to be finalised on Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics, which are emerging technologies and are required to be used by Indian Railways extensively.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">We need to train our officers, who have appropriate aptitude, in these fields with a view to have an in-house talent pool.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\">GM\/SCR has taken excellent initiative to setup a Centre of Excellence in Hyderabad in collaboration with ISB.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Already 87 officers were exposed to a very high quality training module.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\">We expect GMs\/DRMs to nominate Technology Officers for Zones\/Divisions and also identify officers with appropriate aptitude for training in this field.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Request :<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\">1. Please ensure maximum participation in the presentation scheduled on 24 October.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">2. Please share a copy of presentations with officers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\">3. Encourage officers to send their suggestions\/ views on both presentations (separately) to ED E&amp;R.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">4. There is an interaction session after the presentation. Only those officers will be invited to share their thoughts, who have sent their views to ED E&amp;R in advance\u00a0 and indicated willingness to speak during interaction.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\">5. All GMs are requested to send the comments of Zonal Railways on NRP latest by 31 October 2020, duly taking views of Divisions. The comments of divisions may be annexed as an Annexure\u00a0 to the report of Zonal Railways. We intend to finalise the NRP by 15 November taking into consideration the views of Zonal Railways .While finalising the NRP, we will have to keep in view that it is to be implemented in a time bound manner.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">6.
