World\u2019s biggest Locomotive Manufacturer Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW) produces record 431\u00a0 Locomotives in Financial Year 2019-20 (despite #COVID19 restrictions coming in force on 21.03.2020) surpassing it own world record of FY 2018-19.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In last FY 2018-19, CLW produced 402 locos which has been recognised by Limca Book of Records as World Record.<\/span><\/p>\n

The production of CLW has witnessed a jump of 75% over the last 6 years from 250 in 2014-15 to 431 in 2019-20 to\u00a0 support 100% Electrification and Make in India.<\/span><\/p>\n

CLW production of 431 locomotives in this Financial Year is 2.16 times the installed capacity of 200 locomotives per year.<\/span><\/p>\n

With improved by supply chain management, hard work and dedication of staff, and officers of Team CLW has been able to achieve this ever best record production in FY 2019-20 by consistently producing average 40 locomotives since July 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n
